The awkward questions

Answered before you ask.

Why is real-time data not included?

Because AEGIS cannot give it to you. Exchange data is licensed to you, per exchange, per month, and the fee is the exchange's rather than ours. Delayed data is included on every plan and clearly marked as delayed everywhere it appears.

Why does the phone count as a device?

Because the exchange counts it. Their unit is the ability to display data, not the person. We show you every registered device and let you revoke any of them — hiding the count would only mean discovering it on an invoice.

Why only one data session on every plan?

A subscriber permitted three or more concurrent logins must be reported as professional, which costs roughly $140 per exchange per month instead of $9. One session, feeding all your devices, keeps you non-professional.

Is there a free trial?

There is a free plan instead, and it does not expire. The chart, the journal and the deterministic annotations stay free — a trial that ends before you have traded a full week tells you nothing about a journal.

Can I cancel?

Any time, and your journal stays yours. Export it whenever you like, including after you cancel.

Do you take a cut of my trading?

No. AEGIS is not a broker, takes no commission, receives no order flow, and has no financial interest in whether you trade more or less.
